SMI Announces Preliminary Competition and The Grand Finals

Los Angeles, CA - January 30, 2024 - STAR MAKERS INTERNATIONAL, in partnership with ABS-CBN Music and Star Music, proudly announces the much-anticipated dates for its global talent competition - the Preliminary Competition on July 26, 2024, and The Grand Finals on July 27, 2024, set to take place at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, California. 

This grand event is not just a competition; it's a global showcase celebrating the diverse and rich musical heritage of the Filipino community. Talented individuals of Filipino descent, aged 7-40, from across the globe, will grace the stage, each bringing a unique flair and cultural richness to the competition. This event will be live-streamed for a global audience, and will be broadcast on one of ABS-CBN’s platforms.   

Global Representation. Contestants hail from an impressive array of locations worldwide, highlighting the global reach and appeal of STAR MAKERS INTERNATIONAL. Participants will be joining us from:

- Major cities in Canada including Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Manitoba

- Several U.S. states such as Hawaii, Texas, Illinois, California, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Florida, Arizona, Washington

- International and overseas locales including Australia and New Zealand.

Prize Packages. The winner will be awarded a comprehensive prize package that includes:

🌟 A co-management and talent development contract with ABS-CBN Music and a recording contract under its label;

🌟 An opportunity to perform and record a debut single and winner's coronation song written by celebrated and multi-awarded songwriter and most streamed Filipino record producer Jonathan Manalo;

🌟 One (1) round trip ticket to the Philippines; 

🌟 Hotel accommodations during your promotional launch tour in the Philippines;
